W00t!!
The FIRST Robotics competition Wisconsin regional was this weekend (Fri and Sat), and as you could guess from the title, our team's alliance (Three robots that compete together in a match) took first place!

Our team also won the Entrepreneurship Award, which was a pleasant surprise. This means that for our three years we've been a team, we have won a judges award at every regional, and national championship, we've attended (4 regional, 1 championship in total). Since we won this regional, we will also be going on to the national championship again this April. (I won't make it, unfortunately, I'll be gearing up for finals...) We did very well yesterday, the combination of a robust robot and a good game strategy caused us to dominate the in the final rounds. I think if we do that well in Atlanta (where the national championships are held) we'll be in the running to win that one as well(At least place very high).

Devious Comments
Whenever I hear of robotics I instantaneously think "Botball". Never knew there were other games
You know, I think I might be doing Robotics next year as a Senior elective

It's still a robotics class, though, which consists of programming with Interactive C.
Or at least that's all I can remember from the course selection...
I do know that we participate in Botball, which is a different kind of robotics competition I guess.
