I've seen it: It's Coming -- Stay Tuned!
Albino Llama: Llamas are awesome! (91)
Hello to the remaining 3 people who still actively watch me! I am not dead, nor have I given up dA, my many month absence not withstanding. This will be a one of those random bursts of information journal. I do apologize for that. * First things first, since I promised moztrow (https://www.deviantart.com/moztrow): If you comment on this journal I'll: 1. Tell you something I'll learn about you by looking at your DA page for 13 seconds. 2. Tell you which color you remind me of. 3. Tell you my first memory of you. 4. Tell you what Animal you remind me of. 5. Ask you something I've always wondered about you. 6. Tell you my favorite thing about you. 7. Give you a weird

The following passage is my best attempt so far at starting a basic perspective tutorial. I've realized that I can't start with a mathematical derivation, or even include any real math at all. Those who can learn perspective from the math are not those who need a new tutorial. It's an interesting challenge, trying to teach something in a roundabout way. We'll see how it turns out. ------------------------------------ What is perspective? Perspective is a method of drawing 3D shapes on a 2D surface. When someone comments on the perspective in your images, they are commenting on how the various 3D shapes are drawn. It is possible to mathemat

Checkers

0 min read
I have to code a computer program that plays a competitive* game of checkers. I suck at checkers. I've only played one game that I can remember, and that was three years ago, I was totally obliterated. (Granted, that was verses the resident Checkers master, but still...) The tricky part is that my program will have a limited amount of time to make its move, so iterating through the five billion or so possible states is really not an option. Brute force isn't going to do it, I'll have to be clever. :plotting: Let's hope this boils down to a test of programing skill, rather than a test of Checkers skill. *Defined as: able to beat my classmates

Ben I thought you might like to know the status of 2714. As you can see, I got inside the fence and in her cab.
Her firebox is rusted out, her stack is open, so water is able to get into the boiler, so it is probably rusted out. The journal boxes have wasp nests in them, as do the brake lines. the reverse lever is froze, as is the throttle. several of the guages are broken, and one is painted over. the water sight glasses are gone, as are the builders plates. Plus all the rods are painted black, so they would have to be completely sandblasted.
Hey are you still on Deviant Art?
Hey everybody, I don't know who sees this. I'm going to indulge in a little shameless self promotion(Ben is an old friend and I don't think he'd mind)
